C15-19 ALKANE

Alkanes are linear, saturated hydrocarbons that are used in cosmetics as light oils or solvents - often as an alternative to silicones. Many conventional alkanes are obtained from crude oil.

We use a raw material that comes from plant sources and is readily biodegradable. We have deliberately chosen this ingredient in order to create a sensory pleasant product and at the same time offer a more environmentally friendly alternative to silicone oils. (1)
