CETEARYL ALCOHOL
Cetearyl alcohol is a mixture of the fatty alcohols cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol. In cosmetic products, it is mainly used as a co-emulsifier, stabilizer and consistency agent. It gives creams and lotions a smooth texture, improves the stability of the formulation and makes the skin feel pleasant. (1)
