SORBITAN ISOSTEARATE
Sorbitan isostearate is the monoester of isostearic acid and hexitol anhydrides, derived from sorbitol. It acts as an emulsifier in cosmetics and thus ensures the stabilization of emulsions. Sorbitan isostearate is often used in baby products. (1)
