OLEIC ACID
Oleic acid is a monounsaturated fatty acid that acts as an emulsifier, enabling the formation of oil in water emulsions. oleic acid can support wound healing by stimulating repair processes in the skin. (1) In higher concentrations, oleic acid can also increase the permeability of the skin and thus improve the penetration of active ingredients into the skin, for example. (2)
