ZINGIBER ZERUMBET EXTRACT

Zingiber Zerumbet Extract is a plant extract from the broad-leaved ginger (Zingiber zerumbet). It is used in cosmetic formulations as a skin care product and contains secondary plant substances with antioxidant properties. Manufacturer data (in vitro) indicate a reduction in oxidative and micro-inflammatory stress. In observational studies (in vivo), an improvement in the appearance of dark circles and puffiness as well as a fresher-looking eye appearance was reported. The extract can also refine the appearance of the skin. (1)
